once every 2 or 3 months, i try to go to the hot spring in Angsri. it’s located in the northern central side of Bali. it’s a long journey just to bathe in hot water, but it’s worth it. it’s not only the different feeling of bathing in a natural hot spring that i enjoy, but also the climate in this higher-altitude area. except when it rains. then it becomes irritating. the place is filled with bamboo trees, and if you’re lucky, you might spot a wild monkey. don’t try to disturb them though, trust me, you don’t want any beef with wild monkeys. there are two options when it comes to bathing there: a private room or a public pool, which is cheaper than the former. the private room also has a time limit, while the public pool has none.
