"the art of travel"
when i travel using my motorbike, i usually start by following the main roads because i never really know where to begin. they’re also the safest option and have all the traffic facilities needed to function properly. but eventually you run into a problem. sooner or later, every main road gets explored, and that’s when i start looking for alternative routes. honestly, this part of the journey is always the most interesting to me because it feels like discovering new territory, almost like uncovering the fog of war in a game, except instead of a war map, it’s google maps. it also ends up opening a bunch of new roads to explore in the future, especially if they turn out to be more efficient than the safer main roads.
